  • My wife (72 y) has knee osteoarthritis, mainly in left knee and less in right knee; she has suffered bouts of left knee locking for about 2 years, but she has no pain (luckily). In light of my wife not having pain or other issues, we did not want to go for TKR-type major surgical intervention. Recently we heard about Dr AKV in Chennai and his expertise in PRS-based treatment of knee arthritis. Dr AKV examined my wife and offered biological - (stem) cell - therapy option and explained the details and basis of PRS procedure. As both my wife and I have been scientists, we could understand well and it appealed to us as a simpler, worthwhile treatment option. She underwent the procedure at the end of July (about half a day at CMMH, Mylapore) and after 3 days, we flew back to our Mysore home. She is about to complete the 6-week duration of doctor-suggested restrictions to allow for internal healing. She has not had any problems or discomfort during this period and is ready to get back to her normal routines. Dr AKV is very friendly, gives adequate time to respond to patient's queries and concerns. Overall, it has been a very reassuring process and we are hopeful of good outcome of this treatment. N.   • My mother aged 70, had undergone total knee replacement surgery on march 17 2017 for her right leg and the left leg on march 20 2017 . She is very much statisfied with the surgery . She is able to walk independently without any pain. She realised the difference of her condition before and after operation The difference is in the positive side.
